We collect information you provide directly, including your name, email address, and password when you create an account; payment information processed securely through Stripe (we do not store full card details); uploaded content files including photos and videos; location data associated with uploaded content; and any messages you submit through contact forms.

We also collect information automatically through cookies and analytics tools, including IP address, device information, browser type, and usage data such as pages visited and time spent on the site.

For sellers, we collect Stripe account information necessary to process payouts. For buyers, we collect purchase history to provide access to licensed content.

We use collected information to operate, improve, and secure the Platform; process transactions and payouts (including calculating the buyer-facing purchase price from the amount sellers choose to receive); enable search and discovery of location-tagged content; respond to your requests and support inquiries; send service-related communications; and analyze usage trends to improve the Platform. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Photos, videos, and associated location tags uploaded by sellers are stored on our platform and made publicly visible for browsing and purchase. By uploading content, sellers acknowledge that their content and associated location information will be publicly displayed on the Platform.

We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited data with Stripe for payment processing; Supabase for secure database and file storage; Google for location autocomplete and map functionality; and analytics providers to analyze platform usage. We may also share information where required by law.

We use cookies to enhance site performance, maintain sessions, and collect analytics data. You can disable cookies in your browser settings. A cookie consent notice will appear on your first visit.

We retain your account information for the duration of your account and for a reasonable period after closure. Purchased content licenses are retained indefinitely to support buyer access. We retain contact form submissions only as long as necessary to respond to your inquiry.

We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit and at rest. However, no system can guarantee absolute security. We encourage users not to share sensitive personal information beyond what is required to use the Platform.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal information. To exercise these rights, contact us at mapiaryteam@gmail.com. We will respond within 45 days.

Right to Know: You may request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of personal information we hold about you.

Our Platform is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided personal information, we will delete it promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
